STEP 3

 Optimize Your Google Business Listing
Optimizing your Google business listing is very important to ensure that you are ranking for your desired keywords. Please watch the video above for clarification and follow these quick steps to optimize your listing.

STEP 4

Send your info to data aggregators
Data aggregators are data mining systems that spread business information online. They collect and share business data with a multitude of sources, including search engines like Google.

Sending your info to data aggregators does cost money. There are 4 data aggregators but some of them do not allow you to submit directly to them.

STEP 5

Optimize Your Website (a non-comprehensive list)
Page Titles: Ensure that you have page titles for each of the pages on your website and that they include the main categories that you want to rank for, the city you are located in and your business name.

(Example: Chiropractor in Daytona Beach | Business Name)

Headers: You will need H1 tags on each page that include the Google Business Categories you want to rank for.

(Example: If you are a remodeling company and you want to rank for the category "kitchen remodeler" be sure that you include that phrase as an H1 tag somewhere in the beginning of your home page or the page you want ranking for that term.)

Then, in the paragraph below that H1 tag, include H2 text that includes other phrases people may be searching. (best, affordable, highly rated)

Other Note: Make sure that your business name, phone number and address is listed on every page on your website and that it is EXACTLY the same as your Google business listing.
